A new formula..

First, if you love the original Game Ready on match / competition day then stick with that formula. You may find the shot is a good addition for training though.


The best nutrition practices take this into account and you will see tables pre game with a wide range of snacks and supplements available.

PAS has wanted a shot version for some time to complement the range and it was clear at the start that a shot version of the original formula would not work. Creatine is not stable in liquid format and 3g L-Tyrosine will not mix well in 60ml. Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is more soluble but with a very poor absorption rate so that was not an option. Then the beta alanine question – some players don’t like that feeling and in very hot climates its not desirable, does beta alanine work acutely if not already using it, probably not, so we thought lets leave it out and have a different feel product.


We use an ingredient called Alpha GPC in original Game Ready based on research on potential for explosive power and focus but the new field of nootropics led us to choosing Cognizin® , a patented source of Citicoline, which increases phosphatidylcholine that is critical for healthy brain function.

We have maintained the Citrulline at 3g for its role as a Nitric Oxide pre-cursor and its ability to buffer acidosis and blood lactate which has been shown to provide performance benefits for athletes in training sessions which involve aerobic power or strength performance.

The caffeine dosage has been reduced to 200mg - making it more appropriate for lighter bodyweights, those who wish to use Game Ready for training in PM/early evening (and want to sleep after).
